LITTLE FISHES

WHO WE ARE
Little Fishes is a mother and toddler group with a difference! Parents or carers of pre-school children and babies are welcome to try this warm and fun-filled time together.

With Little Fishes we hope to provide a place of welcome and openness with fantastic activities for young children and babies. The activities centre on biblical themes which vary every week.

WHAT WE DO
We make all sorts of things at Little Fishes, and sometimes the carers/parents have as much fun as their little ones with paint, glue and paper etc.

Of course every child needs playtime so we offer play-dough, slides, mini-trampolines and various ride-on toys to keep the children entertained.

Singing together is another fun part of the session along with stories from the Bible which are told in such a way that even our noisiest and youngest members can understand the message and join in. We value prayer and time is given each week to allow anyone, whether Christian or not, to offer subjects for prayer or to give some feedback. This is very informal and the Little Fishes style 'Amen' is something worth coming just to hear.

A LITTLE BIT OF HELP AND SOMETHING MORE
Over the many years that Little Fishes has been running, we have been very grateful for Christians from other churches helping us on the team and many friendships have been formed.

Easingwold Community Church also offers the Alpha Course for those parents/carers who wish to learn more about Christianity.

WHERE AND WHEN WE MEET
Little Fishes meets, during 'term-time' only, at:

The Village Hall in Raskelf on Tuesdays

from 10:00am to 11:45am.

N.B. The Easingwold Little Fishes which was formerly held every Thursday morning in the Parish Rooms on Tanpit Lane, Easingwold, is currently suspended as this venue is no longer available.
