Cornerstone Fostering and Adoption

Cornerstone is an Independent Fostering and Post Adoption Support Agency specialising in offering 'permanent' homes to children in the care of Local Authorities. It is the only Christian Fostering Agency in the UK and is committed to creating forever families for children, especially those that are hard to place

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) enables more than 2,000 aid, MAF logodevelopment and mission organisations to bring medical care, emergency relief, long-term development and Christian hope to thousands of communities. Every 4 minutes an MAF plane takes off or lands somewhere in the world to help eliminate the barriers to physical and spiritual transformation

FoodbankEasingwold Community Care Association (see separate entry below) run the Food Bank. They state:

"We deliver to Easingwold and surrounding villages; The food packages contain tinned and dry goods for 3-5 days’ supply including UHT milk, bread and spreads”

JAM is a Christian Youth Group in Easingwold. It closed during the covid pandemic but plans to re-open in the near future. Volunteer helpers are urgently needed – and will be made very welcome!

Easingwold and District Community Care Association (EDCCA), which is a registered charity, offers a wide range of services including: befriending scheme; community car scheme; community minibus; meals on wheels; and carers’ respite sitting service; and now runs the Easingwold Food Bank. It also provides a number of clubs and other opportunities (e.g. Crossword Club; and Knit and Natter Group).
